Design for the environment

Palm's design for the environment program is designed to achieve pollution prevention and conservation of resources during our products' life cycle.

Palm has developed a design for the environment scorecard to provide a quantitative and measurable assessment of our products. The program has 3 priorities:

  • Design for repair, upgradeability, and recycling
  • Design to minimize power consumption and maximize energy efficiency
  • Design for environmentally friendly materials and manufacturing
